Maizena guava atole (hot Mexican beverage)
Dissolve the contents of the envelope in one cup of cold milk. Stir the cold milk mixture into 1l boiling milk. Boil about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. To sweeten, stir in 1/4 cup of sugar until dissolved.
You’ll know the atole is ready when the mixture is creamy, smooth and is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon without too much pouring off. If the atole still isn’t smooth, keep whisking!
